• Documentation Team Lead

  • Led and trained the Geomatics Department’s 12-member documentation team responsible for writing and updating hundreds of technical process documents.

  • Collaborated with other departments to develop and standardize consistent technical documentation tools and procedures, which increased standard operating procedure (SOP) accessibility and team metrics.

  • Trained the entire Geomatics Department on where to find and how to use the documentation database.

• Organizational Problem-Solving and Development

  • Initiated and led an investigation into cross-departmental spatial elevation data sharing inefficiencies. Led meetings to collaborate with stakeholders and develop a solution resulting in the streamlining of cross-departmental data sharing.

  • Problem-solved and collaborated with management to improve workflow processes and training procedures in preparation for opening an international branch in India.

  • Collaborated with colleagues to develop sustainable solutions for the office resulting in better waste disposal and recycling.

• Geomatics Technician

  • Produced and QC’d aerial imagery products worth over $100,000 for private and government clients within deadlines using proprietary GIS software.

  • Helped team members with questions and problems, showed them tips and tricks, and provided second opinions for difficult QA scenarios.

  • Cross-trained in the LiDAR department to assist with the processing and quality control of GIS and 3D point cloud remote sensing data for the Tree Risk product.
